Night Sky Nail Art

Sometimes it's not possible to do the magical things that we wish we could do. That can be depressing! A good way to feel better is to add a little bit of magic to your everyday life. Like nail polish that reminds you of a beautiful night sky. I've seen lot's of dreamy night skies during my life so far, several that I will never, ever forget. One in particular that reminds me of a cousin I lost last year. Many others too, but that one is on my mind at the moment.

It was at a cattle station that his parents were managing. Such a clear and empty, beautiful sky. Several of my other cousins were there and my brother. There were silos, really high and we climbed a ladder about halfway up and looked at the sky. Chatting about what might be out there. The kind of awe that you don't often feel as an adult.

Anyway, enough explaining, here are the coolest, night sky like nail polish ideas that I could find.
^ This one is called Showgirl Black and Fuchsia Pink Glitter Nail Polish I like how the glitter is all different shapes/sizes. It really does remind me of the stars.
^ This is Witch Way Glitter Nail Polish ... great depth in this one, some larger pieces and a lot of finer glitter that creates the illusion of the night sky really nicely.

Think I'll paint some glitter on my nails now and think of my lovely cousin who is gone much too soon xo

Dreaming of Christmas In Venice

A heat wave today and I made bows all day. So tired of bows! Want to lay in bed and watch a movie or something but can't think of anything that I want to watch so frustrating! Have a stack of things to get done as usual, am not in the mood at all. It's too hot to do anything. Wish I could go somewhere nice and cool where it is beautiful, maybe even snowing.Venice I think! I always wanted to go to Venice. Snow in Venice would be an amazing thing to experience.

Snowy Venice sounds like the perfect, magical place to spend Christmas wow, imagine that. Christmas in Venice would be a dream come true. Not something I'm likely to do, at least not in the near future anyway :) Maybe I'll order one of these cool Christmas ornaments with a photograph of Venice and add it to my tree, like a wish :)

Christmas Cards Australian Store

Zazzle can be very confusing when it comes to sharing products as available in different countries. Instead of allowing you to chose your destination upon checkout the stores for each country have a different URL. This is why I'm making a particular post for Christmas cards that are available in Australia. Greeting cards are my first love when it comes to designing so I like to share them everywhere I can. It's really coo to see that my designs used to celebrate holidays all over the world. Here are some of my favourites.

I'm about to design some new ones but though I would share some of my existing favs with you before I start. These cards add a special personal touch to the holiday season as you can add a special custom message that will be printed inside of the card. You can also add images such as a photograph of your family or change the text on the front.

Christmas Dreams Card

Should I design Christmas cards or clean my room? Thing is, that I just really love Christmas cards! Maybe I should crimp my hair instead, I do keep putting it off! I have about 4 hours up my sleeve so that should be enough time to do both yay. I sold bulk lot of Christmas cards this morning so now I'm inspired! Here is the one I sold.

Cute huh? Think I will definitely do some more!

Flowers, Bows and Politics

Flowers, bows and politics <<< That has been the contents of my day so far. Probably not as interesting as it sounds. Made up some custom orders for "Bow Down For Bows" consisting of two Dora the Explorer bows, one white satin bow ad one ice blue satin bow. Pretty.

Also did some pinning of flower photographs from my Redbubble profile. I haven't added any new products at Redbubble for a log time. Will have to do that, it's on the list! Here is my favourite photograph from my redbubble profile. It was taken at the the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers several years ago. Available for sale as prints etc ... I named it "Morning Petals" love the colors.

Still haven't crimped my hair, slack I know.

Ok so that is the flowers and the bows, now for the politics. I have spoken to a TV Producer this morning who is raising funds via a Kickstarter project. His aim is to stop the government from axing the ABC. The ABC is an Australian community television station and often the only source of unbiased news in the country.

Thinking or organising a protest/community event in support of his action. You can follow the progress of this event here. I will share details on this page as they become available. >> PROTEST AUSTRALIA

More Winter Roses

Well after quite an exhausting day I have designed lots more products for the "Roses of Winter" store. Still have some bows to make, emails to send and I have not crimped my hair! Also, in case you haven't read it elsewhere there are apparently four Russian warships off the Queensland coast here in Australia. Putin is here to attend the G20 summit in Brisbane. The Australian Prime Minister, whom most of us don't like much may have annoyed Russia with his idiocy as well. You can read the latest news report here ~ SYDNEY MORNING HERALD

Anyway ... "Roses of Winter" here is some of the new stuff. Much of it isn't live yet because it can take up to 24 hours after I design a product for it to be in store.
