Baby It's Cold Outside

Ok, it's not really cold outside. I'm in Australia, it's almost summer. When I say almost summer what I really mean is that it IS Summer. We just aren't calling it summer yet because it's not officially. But hey, my magpie is fed and it's time to look at the to do list.

The next thing on my list is to design some products as my entry in the Baby It's Cold Outside zazzle design challenge. I have a few ideas, have started on one but needed to do some more work.Unfortunately it's not going to happen as I have missed the cut off date for entries! Typical! Too many ideas and not enough time!

It doesn't matter though, I'm going to continue with my original idea and finish designing products for my store 'Roses of Winter' The range will feature home decor products such as blankets, pillows and kitchenware. The designs will be of wintery, vintage style roses. Might put some Christmas cards and holiday invitations in there as well. Here is what I have designed so far.

Bone China Mugs

Perfect for winter coffee and hot chocolate drinks. I love that they match all of the other accessories as well, used all together these products will create a whole rosy, wintery vibe. Great gift ideas when paired as well. A fleece blanket teamed with a matching mug is the perfect cosy set for reading or relaxing on a cold afternoon. There will be mugs to match all of the rugs, I just haven't designed them yet! I will after this post ... plus some more rose designs :)
