Unique and Jaded: A Beautiful Day

Had a beautiful day today with both of my daughters. So proud of the young women that they have become. They work hard, they care about others and they are both ridiculously intelligent. Is there anything better when you are a Mother to see your children grow into adults that you can be proud of? It makes it all worth it. My eldest daughter recently took a lower paying job in order to follow her dream of being a hairdresser. She tried for several years to get an apprenticeship but had no luck, Finally she found somewhere who would hire her. She quit her job as a manager at a fast food restaurant to take the opportunity. Is a bit of a struggle for her to keep up with bills because her pay has been cut by more than half. It will improve though. Just so happy that she is finally able to do what she loves and is not afraid to make the sacrifice that she needs to. She sure is one young lady who will never, ever give up.
